# Search issue logs

POST https://api.pensar.dev/issues/{issueId}/logs/search
Content-Type: application/json

Requires the `issues:read` API key scope.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — A workspace API key, sent as `Authorization: Bearer`.
- `x-api-key` header (required) — A workspace API key, sent as `x-api-key`.

## Request

### Path parameters

- `issueId` (string, required) — Issue UUID or label, e.g. `VULN-000123`.

### Body (application/json)

This endpoint expects a LogSearchRequest.

- `query` (string, required) — Case-insensitive text to find.
- `level` (enum, optional)
  - Allowed values: `debug`, `info`, `warn`, `error`
- `role` (enum, optional)
  - Allowed values: `assistant`, `user`, `system`, `tool-call`, `tool-result`
- `contextLines` (integer, optional) — Entries to include on each side of a match. Defaults to 3.

## Response

### 200

Each match with its surrounding entries.

## Errors

### 400 Bad Request Error

The request is invalid. `error` names the field.

### 401 Unauthorized Error

The API key is missing or invalid.

### 403 Forbidden Error

The credential lacks the required scope or is not allowed this action.

### 404 Not Found Error

The resource does not exist in this workspace.
